City Centre Ghostwalk

City Centre Ghostwalk
The now legendary City Centre Walk takes you around Derby City Centre and is recommended for all would be ghosthunters.
Starting at our meeting point, The Old Bell Hotel on Sadlergate. We start the walk with an introduction to the night as we head off to the Cornmarket, and Fishmarket areas of the city, where you will learn the infamous ghost story of PC Moss, the only police officer in Derby to be murdered in the line of duty.

The walk continues through the market place and into the Jorrocks, our haunted pub stop and Derbyshire’s most haunted pub, home of an actual human skull, found in the early 1990s.

The trip continues down St Mary’s Gate and back to the Bell, where we round the walk off with a visit to Room 29, haunted by a serving maid and her killer!

We conclude the night with a ghosthunters supper, served back at the Old Bell Hotel.

Walks last approximately 3 hours, starting at 7pm and finishing around 10pm.

PLEASE ARRIVE FOR 6.50PM

Friar Gate Ghost Walk

This walk starts and finishes at The Derby Gaol, which has resided at the basement of 50/51 Friargate Since 1756. On your way round you will hear stories of murders, executions, crime, punishment and ghostly occurrences.
We start with a brief tour of the Gaol, treating everyone like inmates, before heading down Agard Street, whilst hearing of the harrowing murder of Eliza Morrow in 1862.

We continue the walk up to Derby’s 3rd and last County Prison on Vernon Gate before returning to our Gaol for a Condemned Man’s Supper.

Then unlike so many that have been in the Gaol before, you will be permitted to go home!

Walks last approximately 3 hours, starting at 7pm and finishing around 10pm.

PLEASE ARRIVE FOR 6.50PM AT THE BACK ENTRANCE
TO DERBY GAOL ON AGARD STREET, DE1 1DZ
